As in the case of sealant, the “drowned” honeycombs lead to a deterioration in the radiator functionality, as a result of which the machine will be significantly faster to heat up. To avoid overheating of the engine, the driver will have to resort to various kinds of tricks, such as the exclusion of the temperature sensor from the radiator fan circuit (so that it works constantly), as well as periodic turning on the stove in the cabin (worst when the heater has to be included in the summer, standing in the cork).
