Try to make thermal insulation be continuous. There should not be voids incomplete. To keep the panel between the beams, the pressure with which the insulation is clamped between them should be enough. But if the heat -insulating material is too tightly knocked over the edges of the beams, it is worth pulling strong threads across them.
