Thermal insulation should be laid on it. Foam slabs covered with foil insulation will significantly increase the efficiency of the new heating system. Polyethylene film will provide the necessary waterproofing from above.
Now the insulating layer should be poured with concrete, leaving a few centimeters free from it near the walls.
