Any window must have a windowsill without fail, both internal and external. The outer windowsill, as a rule, is subjected to all natural influences, like rain, hail, snow and so on. The outer windowsill can be made, both of metal and from wood. Wood, even varnished and painted can be subjected to the process of decay under the influence of rainwater.
